This has happened to me quite a few times. You have to force close the app, and upon opening it again, you get the prompt that you disconnected and it counted as a loss. However, when I sent a support ticket, I was told they were aware of this bug and that it doesn’t actually count as a loss.
So in other words, you didn’t actually lose an event ticket and still got the medals for a win.
